On Friday we went on a walk up kaiti hill  we learnt that Prince Mia came to gisborne and planted a pohutukawa tree in 1987. we went to see the captain cook statue telling us about when he came to gisborne, the people that lived here had never seen a white person before and they  thought he was a threat.

They had just arrived we were told to hide lock our doors but I don't get why we were supposed to lock our doors when they can just stand on us.’ Were not safe common mum’ no i'm not leaving well then i'm staying with you i said. All this time we didn't believe them when they said the end of the world is coming. Shh there's one out side mum stay very still’ BUMP BUMP OH NO mum NO. they ripped half off the house apart and they took her they took my mum. I ran out of the house i started to ran across the fields hoping they wouldn’t see me luckily they didn’t i ran to this huge tree and pressed this button and slid down were everyone was this is the only save place every one no one can leave they took our leader my mum. Two weeks later now  it's only me left and my sister were still wondering what those things are. We don't have much time. Most of the world has been taken over by by those things were so scared. the last thing my dad said to me when he got stood on was be strong and i will always be with you.

the little house on the prairie

                                                                                               
Well it all stared when there was a family there was to kids named 
Laura and Mary they had a dog named jack and a ma and a pa they lived in a little house that was to small so they set of on a ride with there wagon. They found a prairie little did they know it was Indian territory. They started building there log house and the barn were they keep pet and patty and bunny there ponies and bunny is pets baby pony. When pa was building the house one of the logs fell on ma's leg and now she has a s pranged ankle. when there house was done there was a war-cry with the Indians. and the government told them that they have to move because the India Soldiers would move them along. because the Indians were moved to far to the west. so they did well they were going along in the wagon they came across a couple a man and a woman who had no horses or no dog pa offed them a ride to independence  but the man said no thank you we cant leave or wagon so they rode off into the dissents tender-bone said pa and that was the end of the book ◉_◉    

 

      

    

Seeking help

We were learning about seeking help when things go wrong online. Today I learnt that if u see something bad on the internet that u email it to there teachers

Mike dawson

today mike Dawson an Olympic ambassador came to our school he said no matter were u come from no matter what colour u are if u try and don't give up u can do anything.once when the Olympic people gave him a spot on a NZ team but he didn't make it but did he give up no he keep on trying even when it got hard.when was little he was inspired by this bother because his bother did a little bit of kayaking.

This week I learnt how to write a report full of facts about wolfs.

I felt challenged when learning how to write the conclusion because I didn't know how to write one until I looked at an example.

next time I write a report I will try to add in the introduction.

I had fun when I was writing my report.have u ever had to write a report. do u have any advice for me.

gray wolves name suits there coats. their coats are black and gray which makes it kind of a white colour.

gray wolfs food source 

 the gray wolve eat up to 20 to 30 pounds per meal.they are carnivores which means there main food source is meat. gray wolves mostly eat large animals such as deer,beavers,goats and fish. they eat about 22.5 pounds per day
